One way is to instruct the audience that it is imperative that they memorize the written word with all their might, or they must concentrate while staring at the word so that you may read their minds.

Then when you get some ash from the burned paper and rub it on your arm, the word will magically stand out, as the ash will naturally stick to the dish soap or the lip balm.
